YLP’s mission is to invest in young women and men across the region to unleash their potential to become social innovators, leaders and a powerful force for change in their communities, countries and the region at large. This goal has the potential of being achieved through supporting innovative approaches to sustainable development challenges, specifically focusing on gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Youth participating in this programme receive ongoing support for their ideas, helping their communities throughout the year.
The main goal of the programme is:
- helping youth develop effective and sustainable solutions to address development challenges.
- providing youth with ongoing technical support through a series of interactive hands-on learning workshops and targeted mentoring.
