Crowd-Funding Facts: Jordan

March 16, 2014

Due to the sudden population increase caused by an influx of refugees, many comunities in Jordan have begun experiencing competition for limited resources, such as social services and healthcare. In Ibrid and Mafraq Governorates in northern Jordan, residents have begun to perceive the new arrivals as a threat to job security and stability. These factors contribute to increasing the vulnerability of both local communities and refugees to
poverty.

Donate now so that UNDP can help ease the burden of unemployment in these areas, by providing vocational training to host communities at risk.
