Nour manages the website and social media platforms for UNDP in the Arab States. Recently, she has been responsible for migrating the UNDP Arab States website to a new global Content Management System which has been launched in November 2012.

In her capacity, she has been central in reaching out to the public in Arab States through writing in journalistic and user-friendly style for the web, participating in UNDP global campaigns and supporting key events around the Arab Transformation through promotional activities and live tweeting.

Furthermore, she been providing support on content management to UNDP country offices.

Prior to joining UNDP Regional Center in Cairo, she served as a Media Specialist for the Economic Recovery and Poverty Alleviation Pillar at UNDP Iraq.

During her term with UNDP Iraq, Nour has been extremely successful in devising and operationalizing communications strategies for a number of complex development programmes and projects in Iraq. The results of her work have been fascinating, starting with publicity materials in print, film and radio, and advocacy strategies that have helped UNDP Iraq to reach out to both local authorities and communities alike on issues such as governance reforms.

Earlier, she occupied the position of Communication Manager for British Council Jordan.

Nour has an MA in Business Administration from the University of Hull and a BA from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.
