The project aims to develop a strategic vision for the development of the region on the basis of its geographical location, and the importance of its role in the northern region and within the Lebanese economy.

The Dinnieh region is one of the poorest areas in Lebanon. Therefore, the development efforts aiming at eradicating poverty and launching the development process should target this poor region as a priority. In this regard, the strategic planning initiative for the Dinnieh region represents one of the most essential tools to advance the regional and local development process forward.
