SDG Climate Facility: Climate Action for Human Security project is organizing a webinar to celebrate International Women’s Day. The webinar entitled “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” will explore the linkages between climate change, human security and gender equality.
It will explore climate related threats and impacts on human security in situations of crisis and displacement and will show how women in adversity exhibit leadership in climate action that contributes to human security and the achievement of the SDGs.
The discussion will cover the regional perspective by speakers from the Arab Water Council and UNDP in addition to country case studies from Sudan and Iraq.
