The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in cooperation with the Estonian e-Governance Academy (eGA), has organized a series of seven training sessions part of the Regional Training Programme on digital transformation and e-governance.

The online training is designed to easily transmit digital transformation and e-governance principles to senior government officials and other entities responsible for e-government planning, development, or implementation with the ultimate goal to support the development of sustainable public service delivery in countries in the region. Through the collaboration of all participating Arab countries and experts, there will be multi-layered insight gained to help streamlining next processes to enhance e-government in Arab countries. The course will allow to create a community of practice (CoP) to share experiences and debate on digital transformation challenges and success stories, even beyond the delivery of the webinars. By the end of the course, participants are expected to have acquired broader understanding on e-governance in general from technological capacity and internal processes digitization to digitization of the processes governing the relationship between the government and its citizens.

The series of training consists of seven 3-hour online webinars, with 2 experts each to provide their expertise and experience on the topic and drive the discuss on different aspects on e-governance. Each webinar focuses on specific theme, including presentation and discussion session, based on questions from the participants. Refer to the below table for the overview of the programme.

It is strongly recommended to take part to all 7 webinars, as they are part of the whole e-government ecosystem and so the full e-governance concept would be easily understandable to the audience. Training sessions will be held in English through Zoom with Arabic and French interpretation available.
